IMAD KOTBI, was born in Casablanca, Morocco, on the 21st of June,1978.He is a Moroccan radio and television host-producer ,moreover he is also a well known DJ and voice imitator.
Imad Kotbi made his Radio beginnings in 1998 at Radio FM in diffused at that time from the International Fair in Casablanca by co-hosting a weekly program « Frequence Dream » with Ramzi Amiri.
On June 26th,1999 , Imad realized and produced its own daily program "Cadence", by replacing the flagship presenter (Chouchou Ari) still on the same station.
In 2000, he joined « Rabat Chaine Inter » (SNRT) for a program on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On July the 10th, 2006, he hosted the « KOTBI SHOW » on « Casa FM » which became « MFM », surrounded by a band of friends, «Mehdi Kerati», «STK», « Zineb Benaboud » and «Skype»r.
On December the 29th, 2006, he managed to realize his "longest morning in the world", by staying fully active for 50/fifty hours long on the air in order to break the International record attributed to the famous radio speaker «ARTHUR » on RadioEurope2.
In 2007, he left «RADIO MFM » for « HIT RADIO » where he launched the first Morning Show in Morocco (6 am-10am) with Fati and Zineb (The I-Morning) I-Mad and the I-Girls. The show was a real success with 2/two million listeners.
In 2009, the morning was extended until 11 a.m with a new team composed of Mehdi Kerati and Mehdi M .
In January 2010, Imad left « HIT RADIO » I order to join « RADIO PLUS » with his entire team to host « RADIO KOTBIZZZ from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
In 2012, after two years spent on « RADIO PLUS », Imad and the staff station agreed not to renew the contract . The animating radio host decided to join « CAHDA FM » by the beginning of the 2012 school year in order to host « The Tonight Show » for one year from 8 p.m. to 10p.m. accompanied with Mehdi Kerati, Hamza Filali, Safae and Xavier Sanchez.
In 2013, Imad changed his niche and program, by launching on the same station his morning called "Imad f’la radio" with Leila Kim, Younes and Fadwa.

In 2014 , Imad strengthened his team with the arrival of Chahrazade Akroud, Mohamed Douyeb, Sarah Azmi and Maya Allali.
On September the 2nd, 2015, he joined MEDI 1 RADIO for a short season by hosting «Allo le monde», from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Maya Allali, Mohamed Douyeb, Mustapha Daoudi, Othmane and Kamar Saadaoui.
September 2016 Imad joined «CHADA FM» again to take the responsability and full control of the « morning » with a new team made up of : Rahma and Booba then Ibtissam and Younes Nani.
2017 Imad Kotbi strengthened the morning team again with the arrival of Paco, and Abdelouhab.
Then Mr.RACHI HAYEG the president of CHADA GROUP offered IMAD KOTBI the position of director of the programs and the antenna of CHADA FM. From that time everything had gradually got modernized up to the point that the antenna increased alot the audience of the station. So In September 2018, and while he was still the director of the station, he managed to produce and host the new version of the Kotbi Show between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday with a new team composed of «Paco», «3ami», « Atif» and «Diza». Happily the program broke the record of its daily audience with 956,000 listeners.
